Catherine M. Eaton (nee Culik/McGroarty)
Age 78, a lifetime resident of Lockport passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice House. Beloved mother of John (Cindy) Eaton and Kathleen Tucci both of Lockport; dearest sister of Mike (Sue) McGroarty of Normal IL; proud Memaw and Mimi of Josh (Colleen) Eaton, Jeremy (Robyn) Eaton, Jacob (Courtney) Eaton, Jordan Eaton, David (Teri) Tucci, Mary Tucci, Terese (fiancée William) Tucci and Vance Tucci; fond sister in law of Ray Salbego of Wisconsin; dear aunt Lois Garman of Joliet; cherished great grandmother of 5 and also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son Douglas Eaton (1982); parents Albert Culik and Marie McGroarty(nee Young); step father John McGroarty ; sister Alberta "Sis" Salbego and her former husband Earl Eaton.

She retired as a District Manager for Illinois Bell in 1993 after 32 years and a former Town Clerk for Homer Township. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, on Monday, February 20th, 2012, from 3pm until 8pm.

Funeral service Tuesday, February 21st, 2012, at 9:30am leaving for St. John Vianney Church in Lockport for a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow to Mount Vernon Cemetery in Lemont.
