Alice F. Sopher (nee Planka), age 77 of Frankfort formerly of the Roseland area passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. She is survived by her loving family; Husband Warren Sopher Jr.; Children Laura Medina, Warren Sopher III and Susan Wierenga and grandson Norris Medina III. She was preceded in death by her parents Steven and Sophie (nee Koszut) Planka and Brother Raymond Planka. Alice was a loving mother who enjoyed playing Scrabble and was an avid Bowler she was a member of bowling leagues in Orland Park and New Lenox. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 3 - 9 pm at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way Frankfort, IL 60423. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
