STEPHEN L. LAWRENCE

Age 65, of Lockport, passed away Wednesday, May 31st, 2017 at his home in Lockport.

Stephen is survived by his loving family, brothers, Tom (Deb) Lawrence, John (Sherie) Lawrence, nieces and nephews, Sara (Andrew) Hartel, Katie Lawrence, Rachel Lawrence, Josiah (Sarah) Lawrence, Elisha (Andrea) Lawrence, Anna-Marie (Jonathan) Penn, Charity (Todd) Ellis, Naomi (Jacob) Walls, Abbie Lawrence, great nieces and nephews, Emily Lawrence, Isaiah Lawrence and Norah Lawrence.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy & Marie Lawrence (Etheredge).

Stephen was a member of Calvary Church in Lemont. He was a brilliant student of military history; hired by a museum in Chicago to paint and set up a diorama of Desert Storm. Stephen was an avid War Gamer who had developed and published War Gaming battle scenarios. He was renowned in the United States and England for his painting skills regarding War Gaming figurines.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 from 9:00 AM until time of memorial service at 10:00AM.
