Patriotic Emblem

Dennis L. Thuftedal

Age 82, of Mokena formerly of Beecher, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016.

Dennis is survived by his loving family, wife Virginia Thuftedal; children David (Dawn) Thuftedal and Karen (Ed) Moran; siblings Dale (Linda) Thuftedal; Chris Thuftedal and Nancy (late John) Kangas; grandchildren Ryan Thuftedal, Kirstin (Gary) Perkins, Tyler Thuftedal, Matthew Moran and Zachary Moran and Seth and Logan Perkins; great grandchild Olyvia Thuftedal and many nieces and nephews.

Dennis was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves, a member of the Chicago Bar Assoc., a former minister for United Christian Church in Country Club Hills and a member of the Disciples of Christ Minister Group.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 3:00PM until 8:00PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423. Funeral service on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow to Good Shepherd Cemetery in Orland Park, IL.
