Condolence & Memory Journal

I have so many memories of Uncle Hank throughout the years. As a child we played with his old office supplies in the basement on Peoria Street. As I got older there was always a rousing game of Canasta with my cousins in New Lenox. Our families were together often and Uncle Hank was always there. He wasn't chatty and preferred adult communication, but he was interested in the events of the day and enjoyed a good party. I remember visiting his home in Winter Haven, FL more than once. He enjoyed giving a tour of the neighborhood while driving a golf cart. He was also very proud of his family and made it a point to show off pictures of his children and grandchildren at each visit. May he rest in peace.

I have so many great memories of visiting the Wingels' home (Chicago & New Lenox) ... too numerous to count. Uncle Hank was always welcoming to me and always had a smile for me. Family vacations were always fun too. Whether we were fishing in the North Woods, exploring the Black Hills or strolling the midway at the Illinois or Wisconsin State Fairs, Hank wanted everyone to be included in the activities.
