I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Z for most of my life. She was an active mother in the baseball organization I belonged to as a kid. As I grew older, I was able to witness her loving ways as a grandmother, as well. She had an infectious smile, and was always encouraging to us when we played baseball. (Especially when it came down to beating a rival coach.) She welcomed me in their home when I was younger, and I remember her always transcribing when she was there. Always working - whether as an involved mom or a supportive partner. My heart goes out to Mr. Z, Scotty, Jody, Dave and Danielle, her grandkids and all of her extended family. Many of us laughed and smiled because she was a part of our lives, but none more than her husband, kids and grandkids.
