Condolence & Memory Journal

It saddens me to know that you are gone before your time. I am so glad that we were back in contact for the past 5 years! You passed 9 days before Ash's wedding. You were an awesome grandpa to Ash and Josh. We had so, so many good times together from parties, camping, boating and travel! I went through all my photo albums and it brought back so many memories especially from my wedding! I will forever hold all the memories close to my heart. Rest In Peace Paul or also known as my Buddy.

Dear Cindy, Ashley, and family--
Words can't begin to describe my grief and shock over Paul's sudden passing. I keep hoping it's just a nightmare we're going to wake up from and he'll be right here again. He really was the "heart" of our neighborhood group, and it's unimaginable being without him. Personally, he did so much for me and I'll never forget it. He always found time and even when I'd really goofed something up, he'd just tease me a little and fix it.
The kind of man he was showed the time we had the super bad snowstorm, and he and Cindy had me and my dog stay at their house because they had a fireplace. Paul kept worrying about my parakeet, and in the freezing cold and snow up to his hips, he struggled over to my house, got the bird, and brought it back so it would be ok. That kind of person comes along only a few times in your life it you're lucky, and I feel I'm a better person for having known him for 6 years. But I can't imagine life without him.
Sleep well, my friend, and my flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.
