Sharon A. Loller Obituary

Appreciated Sharon's ministry along side Pastor Loller's at Ambassador Baptist in Michigan. She had the ability to put you immediately at ease. Her eyes and smile were as warm as her hugs. Loved her voice and found it a thrill to sing trios with her and my mom. Remember her willingness to sing at my parent's 25th wedding anniversary party. She willingly covered for me on the piano too when needed. She knew how to throw herself wholeheartedly into serving

Loved her voice and found it a thrill to sing trios with her and my mom. Remember her willingness to sing at my parent's 25th wedding anniversary party. She willingly covered for me on the piano too when needed. She knew how to throw herself wholeheartedly into serving others. It has been almost 20 years since their ministry at our church but there are still evidences of her service and love for us. One occurrence that still brings a smile to my face was when she tried to set me up with a visiting pastor. To her horror while away on vacation, she discovered that he was married. She felt so bad, but we had a good laugh over it when they returned. She was trying to find me a good husband as the Lord had provided for her. :) Her love for children was obvious when she would snatch my little brother & other children in bear hugs. My heart breaks for your incredible loss. I look forward to our heavenly reunion. Praying for you all.

Pastor Jim and family. My sincere condolences on the passing of your wife. Time goes by so quickly in this temporal life and it has been many years since our last meeting at my dinette shop in downtown Scranton. My prayer is that you and your family will be comforted by the love of Christ which passes all understanding. Know this is a time of sorrow but we can rejoice that your wife Sharon now rests securely and joyfully in the bosum of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May the Lord be with you.

I remember when Sharon and Jim were at my old church Ambassador Baptist in Royal Oak Michigan. The church had a road rally and when we got back Sharon and I were singing old TV show theme songs. (Poor Jim.:) I had given Sharon and Jim my son Matthew's crib when she found out she was expecting her Matthew. Was stunned to hear of her passing. Such a warm,fun,and caring lady one couldn't help but love.

Till we meet again Sharon. You will truly be missed.

Driving down Southwest Highway last week, I noticed Victory Baptist Church. I was on my way to my sister's house who lives in Mokena. I only get to the Chicago area now at Christmas time after my move to Charlotte about 15 years ago. That same day I saw Sharon's obituary posted on Facebook. Driving down Southwest Highway last week, I noticed Victory Baptist Church. I was on my way to my sister's house who lives in Mokena. I only get to the Chicago area now at Christmas time after my move to Charlotte about 15 years ago. That same day I saw Sharon's obituary posted on Facebook. I taught with Sharon at Schaumburg Christian School, and we became good friends. I remember being sad when she decided to return to Bob Jones to get her master's degree, but I knew it was God's leading. She had such a hard time adjusting to being a student again. She flew back and visited with me in Schaumburg, I visited her in Greenville, and we went to Disney World together. And then, she met Jim, and all was right with the world again. She was excited for me to meet him, and I went to Greenville to spend a weekend with them. That weekend, we were either with Jim or talking about him. She was a graduate student in love. Sharon and Jim got engaged, and she asked me to stand up for her in her wedding. What a great day that was! I visited them a few times after they began their ministry together. The physical distance between us and the busyness of our lives caused our visits and calls to become less frequent. We grew out of touch. Years later, we became Facebook friends, and I was excited to see how God was blessing Sharon and Jim. For a four or five year period in the 90's, Sharon was my closest friend. We laughed together, we cried together, we shared trips, we worshiped together. As I left my sister's house on Tuesday before returning to Charlotte, I drove down Southwest highway once again. This time I stopped this time in the parking lot of Victory Baptist Church and prayed for comfort for the family of my friend Sharon. I know she will be missed. That heavenly choir just acquired a fantastic alto!

Words really cannot contain the depth of my emotions at your loss which we are feeling too. Sharon was a great friend, a wonderful example, a loving woman and a faithful follower of Jesus. Her loss is keenly felt by so many. Please know that there are many who share in your grief.

Such a sweet lady. She taught my granddaughter at MMBA a few years ago. Heaven is certainly a lot sweeter!

I remember the first time I met Sharon...We were performing Handles Messiah at Heritage Baptist Church and Dave (our choir director) opened it up to other Baptist churches in the area. While I didn't get to sit by Sharon (as I am a soprano), she sat right next to my mom. I still remember my mom saying what a blessing it was to sit by Sharon, because she had such a lovely alto voice. I will miss her sweet spirit.

Growing up with Sharon, I can only remember her kindness. What a Christian leagacy. Our prayers are with your family. The Taylor's Jon, Kate, Sophia, and Hannah.

It was a blessing to know Sharon. She loved The Lord, her family, and her students. She was so proud of her boys! I'm thankful for the time I was able to work with her.

Sharon was such a loving, caring, warm person. Her thoughtfulness of others truly made a tremendous impact on my life. I will miss her greatly, but rejoice that she is with the Lover of her soul.
