Dr. Mary Burke. While I never had the pleasure of meeting your husband, I've been your patient for so long, I remember when you guys got married. I always enjoyed your stories about him; it was clear there was a lot of love between you. You are in my thoughts & prayers. RIP Mr. Burke, Via con Dios.

Our deepest condolences for Mr. Burke and his family. He was one of the kindest men and a great fiddle player. He had the kindest of words for my late father Joe O'Shea. Frank did so much for Irish music and was a friend to so many. He will be as missed as he was loved and admired.

I do see my father in heaven playing his accordion at a small pub in the back like he and Frank did

Man sieht die Sonne langsam untergehen und erschrickt doch, wenn es plötzlich dunkel ist. -- Franz Kafka. (One watches the sun setting slowly and yet can't help but get scared when it's suddenly dark.)

Uncle Frank was always one of the most welcoming family members, right from when I first became a part of the clan a quarter century ago, up until now. His generosity in spirit, his broad interests and willingness to share his knowledge, and a prevailing sense

Frank, Thanks for all the great times, and the great support for those of us who loved the music (maybe more than the music loved us!) Many great memories of tunes and conversation. Rest easy, a chairde!
