I've been thinking about all of you constantly during the past couple weeks and bringing back to my mind the times I remember most with Bret. I'll be dating us back in time by saying in our early 20's when us kids met through our parents, Bart was too young to go out dancing with us but the other three Deval's knew all of the best places and moves on the dance floor while enjoying a great time shaking it

I had the pleasure of having Bret as a student in my biology class and as a player on one of our football teams. He may very well have been the toughest football player I ever coached. When he was running with the ball the ground would literally quake as he turned the corner.
