Dear Mrs. Hoffman, so sorry to hear Dieter passed away. My Dad, Armell Landrey, was a friend and all around handyman for you and Dr. Hoffman. He always enjoyed working for you both at your home and the clinic.
My Dad passed away on Christmas Eve this past year. My Mom, Betty, also sends her condolences. I'm sure they are reminiscing in heaven as I write you this note.

I had the pleasure of working with Dieter at St. Joseph's hospital in the 1980's. He was a very dedicated physician who was always upbeat and happy. My sincere condolences to Mrs. Hoffmann and family.

My sincere condolences go out to Mrs. Hoffmann and the family. I worked for Dr. Hoffmann for many years. I started in the little office in front of Kmart, and transferred to the office on Vine Street. Dr. Hoffmann was always a positive and caring man. He was a very dedicated doctor, and frequently went the extra mile to help those in need. I will treasure all that he taught me, and deeply appreciate the privilege of working for him. He will be missed by all of my family. Sincerely, Kathie and Kevin Irving

Sorry for your loss. Dr. Hoffmann was my primary physician up though high school. His approach to medicine and his fun loving attitude is what influenced my decision to go into the medical field. I am certain he impacted the life of every patient in a positive way. God speed, Dr. Hoffmann.

Dr. Hoffman was my families doctor since my mom and dad had moved to New Lenox in 1955 and started having all 5 of us starting in 1957. He was the only Doctor that I ever knew of in my younger years that would come to the house and service a whole family. He came to see us when all of us had the mumps, the measles and the chicken poxs. My mom respected him to the utmost because he

Dieter was more than a brother in law-- he was a generous and interesting friend to me and all my family. Our childrend know their own lives are richer for having had him in their lives. We enjoyed his and Murph's hospitality, sharing music and intellectual questions, and coasting on his medical prowess. We will all miss him greatly but have every reason to cherish his legacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, his most effective memorial.
