If you look at Ed's smile, that says it all. My sincere condolences to the family. I've known Ed since the early years at FRA. He was always smiling and happy, which brightened my day.

God bless you Eddie.

My deepest condolences to the Staehlin family. It was my pleasure to have known and worked with Ed at the FRA for many years. He was a good man and he will missed greatly by those who knew him. Peace be with you my friend and may you have fair winds and following seas.

Ed was my neighbor. I never met a finer more generous man. I was proud to call him my friend. He will be greatly missed by a lot of people. Sad way to start the year.

Ed,
I was stunned when I was notified of your passing. We had a lot of good times together a the FRA. You were the best boss I ever had. I know that rest of the Hazardous Materials Staff at the FRA, shares my feelings.

RIP
Ernie

We are so saddened by the loss of Ed. My daughter, Elysia, spent a lot of time with him and Cailynn. He was always kind and thoughtful, generous and patient. He will be sorely missed. - Chrisy Gast

Lost my own husband in 2004 and Ed, his boss at the FRA, helped with planning funeral arrangements and all the government widow's paperwork following. I have always remembered his kindness with appreciation and gratitude. He was a good man and I know how much he will be missed. God bless you Ed.
