This was the friendliest Priest. Once he meet you her didn't forget you. He will be missed so much. RIP Fr. Mark.

Fr. Mark was our pastor In Minooka for many years. He was always a dedicated friendly and kind priest and involved with many activities.
I am a life time member of St. Mary's and a charter member of St. Mary's quilters. I spend many Tuesdays quilting in St. Mary's basement. We make a quilt each year and raffled it at our St. Patrick's corn beef and cabbage dinner. We gave the proceeds to Fr. so he could purchase items needed

So many childhood memories of Fr. Mark and Jeannie and Chipper at their Home when I would visit with Jeannie my wonderful childhood friend and Sacred HEart classmate. Mark hasleft such a shining and fun legacy and will always remain a twinkle in my heart.

We send deepest sympathy to family and friends of Father Mark.

Father Mark was the glue that held our Sacred Heart School, Class of 1955, together. Mark selflessly organized our reunions and kept us up-to-date on the St. Dennis happenings. He kept us in touch with each other and shared his travel and acting experiences.
We are thankful for Mark's devotion to Christianity and to service in the many communities blessed by his priesthood. Mark will be sorely missed. We are sure

Father Mark was such a special man of God. I'm crying as I'm typing this; my heart feels as tho it's breaking. We came to know him when he was pastor at St. Rose Church in Wilmington, IL. Over 30 yrs. ago, he married my husband and I. When our grandson was born, since our daughter was not registered at any church in Joliet, there was to be a long waiting period. I called Fr.Mark and he said "bring that

Fr Mark you will always be one of the most special priests I've had the privilege to know. Your kindness, humor and compassion touched my heart and soul. Your love of life and your love of theatre were great gifts. Your commitment and dedication to the youth of our church were a true inspiration. I will always cherish the Mass you celebrated with our diocesan group in Paris at World Youth Day it was an incredible faith filled experience!!!May you rest in God's peace now, as the Angels surround you.

Fr. Mark and I did "Fiddler on the Roof" together at Lewis University in 2001---he as the Rabbi and me as Yente, the matchmaker. The Joliet papers loved the fact that a priest and a United Methodist clergywoman were playing those roles. He also signed a funeral with me at Carlson's when a family member of the deceased was deaf. I will certainly miss him. May flights of angels sing him to his rest.

Goodbye my friend. Thank you for your recent Christmas card. Our many years sharing faith at St. Rose in Wilmington and our special friends the Clancy sisters. I thank you for all you did for my brother, James Amiot in the deaf community at St. Mary's in Plainfield. I will miss you. Pray that you are with the Lord, after all the special work you did for the people of God.
