When I heard about Fr. Mark's death, my heart sank, filling me with mixed emotions. I knew Father for several years through our ministry with Deaf people in the Archdiocese of Chicago and the Diocese of Joliet. Father was one of the kindest souls I ever met and knew. His patience, humor, and, most of all, humility were what I remembered most about his character. Another thing that impressed me about Father was that he continued his interest and support

Father Mark had signed for the deaf and had signed at my mothers wake and funeral. I am thankful to him for doing so. I also am thankful to him for his signing to the deaf congregation when the deaf people would go to services. Be well at your new home with the Lord. You will be missed.

Father Mark was as genuine as they come. Kind, humble, intellectual, reverent and loving. He was not afraid to have fun. By sharing himself, he helped us to know God. Even in the smallest acts ... who else would send a thank-you note to thank you for a note? Mark A. Fracaro, born to eternal life on September 6, the feast of St. Eleutherius. Happy Birthiversary! Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I had the honor of directing Mark in "1776" in 2002, and he was so wonderful and cheerful the whole show, it made my tasks so much easier. His smile and laugh were so contagious, that the whole cast was inspired. Thank you, Father Mark.

Father Mark welcomed our family into st.Mary's when we moved to the Minooka area. Confirmed me as a Catholic, gave my daughter her first communion and confirmation, and blessed my husband and I on our 25th wedding anniversary. He always was ready and willing to comfort and bless any and all. Thank you, dear Father, for your service and love of the Lord. Rest in peace.

So sad and sorry to hear about Father Marks passing. I wish he could have enjoyed his retirement and traveling just a little longer. We will miss his March Christmas cards. Our condolences to his family and many, many friends.

Father Mark was a wonderful priest and friend to our family. We adored him and missed him so much when he left our Parrish. We did meet up with him for lunch periodically. He brought us into the Church and visited us in our home. He was a guest at our 25 wedding anniversary , where we renewed our vows. He will be missed by our whole family. Rest with god.

Fr Mark was the first priest that we knew who could express his faith in Jesus by simply saying "Jesus": one knew how fully he believed! From the time Fr Mark came to St Mary Parish in Minooka, IL until he retired, he was an inspiration to all of his congregation and to us and our family. He had the ability to debate theology while teaching his parishioners ways to continue their growth as a Catholic. We will miss his Christmas cards in March & April. Most of all we will miss him!

Father Mark welcomed us with open arms when we moved to Minooka. May there be an endless supply of silly hats and plays in heaven! Thank you for your kindness during our years in Minooka.
