We made a contribution to Father Marks hat collection while he was volunteering at St. Joseph's in Lockport.! Everyone enjoyed his heartfelt homilies and his loving nature. He will be very missed here.

I got to know Fr Mark while he was at St Scholastica and also his time at Illinois Benedictine College. We were privileged to be at his retirement party in Minooka a few years ago and the love shown to him by his many friends was wonderful to see. He had a great time at the party but was reduced to tears when he was presented a ticket to ride the Orient Express. He was able to take that trip

Father Mark was one of the kindest, gentle, caring and talented person. He loved theatre and supported the Lewis University Philip Lynch Theatre as a performer, patron and subscriber. I will miss his smile and the twinkle in his eyes, his sandals and suspenders AND all of his crazy hats. Although he's made his final curtain call, he is a star that will continue to burn bright.

Fr. Mark. You are still in my mind and my heart. I will always remember you forever.
Thank you so much for your times with a lot of loves and helps toward us and our Deaf Community.
You came to St. Isidore to do the deaf signed mass one a month for years.
We always enjoyed being with you whenever go out to eat after the signed mass.
We had great time parties of Knight of Columbus dinners, Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, Deaf Retreat and Deaf Picnic.

You have Golden Key to God's Home.

Love and Hugs,
Jack and Peggy Crotty

I remember him at St. Francis Academy where he taught religion and I was one of his students. He was aware that I am deaf and he was always very good to me and he and I would chat many times during my high school days. He interpreted for me at my uncle's funeral in 2008. The last time I saw him was last year when he married my niece and her hubby in 2015. He was also at the

Fr. Mark Concelebrated at my husband Dave's funeral on July 1 at St. Dennis Church and did the blessing at our luncheon. He was always worried about me when Dave was ill. I'm in the St. Dennis Choir and he taught us how to do the Alleluia in Sign Language,it took us a little time to learn it, but we have it Down Pat now. I will miss his beautiful smile and his kind and caring personality.
God Rest in peace Fr. Mark.
